Bud was in the military and was in New York when someone pushed him in front of a subway car on December 27, 1942. He died on Friday, New Years Day 1943 in New York and his body was brought by train to Minnesota. He was buried in Calvary cemetery on January 5, 1943. His Mother was so upset, she didn't attend the funeral.

Gravesite Details

Enter Calvary at gate directly across from office on Front Street, take the first left and stay on that road until you get almost to the top of the hill. You will see a large red tombstone (Rogowski); they are behind it.
