Funeral services for John T. Lamb, 85, formerly of Lawton, will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Lamb died Wednesday in an Oklahoma City hospital.
Burial will be in Cache Cemetery, Cache, Oklahoma under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
He was born on August 21, 1925 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Otto and Nora (Ware) Lamb. He served in the Navy in World War II. He was a farmer in the Cache area for many years. Mr. Lamb married Betty J. Kuchynka in May of 1944 in Lawton. She died on January 23, 2007.
Survivors include a son, Jerry T. Lamb of Lawton; a daughter, Jaquita Woodard of Shreveport, Louisiana; five grandchildren and their spouses, Jo and Sean Harrigan of Frederick, Shonta and Anthony Mello of Millbrook, Alabama, Steven and Beth Cook , Charles and Shannon Cook all of Vivian, Louisiana, and Edward and Betty Florence of Bloomburg, Texas; fourteen great grandchildren, Stephen and wife Megan Saenz, Amber and husband Bryan Robinson, Callef Walker, Robert Scott Hufnagel, Katelyn Paige Mello, Amber LaMae Mello, Anthony Francis Mello IV, Haley Cook, Steven Cook Jr., Devin Cook, Logan Cook, Christian Cook, Alexander Cook and Trystin Russell; three great great grandchildren, Christopher Wade Saenz, Brynn Cook and Oleiah Cook; three sisters, Cleo Baker, Sterling, Florene Holbee, Elgin and Marlene Wiles, Duncan; and an ex daughter in law, Mary Saunders, Lawton;.
His parents, a grandson, Johnny T. Lamb, two brothers, Lonnie and Homer Lamb; and four sisters, Pauline Carson, Mildred Sallee, Leona Blackstock and Maxine Dodson preceded him in death.
