Orville F. Snow, 67, a retired carpenter, died at 10:05 P.M. Tuesday in the Hilltop Nursing Home, Charleston, where he had been a resident for years. His former address was 1409 S. 3rd.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at Shilling's funeral home with Reverend Meredith Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Dodge Grove cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 PM Thursday.
Mr. Snow was born July 6, 1898 in Neoga, a son of Ephraim and Margaret Shelley Snow. He married Emma Bumgardt of Pana. She is deceased.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. Maurice Craig, Mattoon, Mrs. Kelly Redman, Toledo and Mrs. Kenneth Larsen, Evansville Indiana; two sons, Robert and Howard both of Mattoon; two brothers Russell and Ephraim of California; a sister, Mrs. Stanley Jones, Danville; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Another son, Orville is deceased.
