PORT HURON TOWNSHIP -- Roy L. Hamilton, 72, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1986 in Port Huron Hospital. He was born July 15 1914. He married Bina M. Avery July 19, 1939 in Port Huron.
Mr. Hamilton retired from Schmidt Brothers Service Station. he was a certified master mechanic. He was a member of Port Huron Lodge 58, F&AM, and Pythian Sisters, Lodge 40 and 65 Plus. He was a life member of Lodge 18, Knights of Pythias.
Mr. Hamilton is survived by his wife, Bina M. Hamilton, Port Huron; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy M. and David N. Prahl, Big Lake, Alaska; grandson, Christopher W. Prahl, U.S. Navy, Orlando, Fla.; granddaughter, Karen S. Prahl, Big Lake; brothers Raymond I., Wilson D. and James E. Hamilton, Port Huron and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete. A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday by Port Huron Lodge 58, F&AM.
