WILLIAM TURNER

EVANSTON, Wyo., Jan. 6-William Turner, 66, a resident of Uinta county for 62 years, died at his home in Evanston Saturday after a long illness.
He was born in Nottingham England, Feb. 3, 1875, a son of Hezekiah and Harriet Brailsford Turner. When he was five years old he came with his parents to Almy, Wyo., where his father and brothers worked in the coal mines.
He later worked in the mines as a boss and when they shut down in 1910, he moved to Evanston, where he engaged in real estate.
He married Miss Annie Saxton of Evanston in October, 1897. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge.
He is survived by four daughters: Florence Delbert Turner and Grace Turner of Stockton, Calif.; Harriet Turner, Cheyenne; Edna Turner, Ogden; one son, William Jr., of Evanston; also three brothers, John Turner, Casper, Wyo.; Ernest Turner, Stockton, Calif.; James Turner, Evanston, and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Robinson and Mrs. Harriet Easton of Evanston.
The body is at the Durnford mortuary pending funeral arrangements which will be completed upon arrival of relatives from California.
