I "adopted" Lt. Briggs from Operation Just Cause, a non funded assembly of persons from around the world, united in their desire to achieve the fullest possible accounting of Americans missing and unaccounted during the Vietnam war and all wars. His remains, which had been located in 1995, were finally identified with DNA and dental records in November, 2002, and were buried in Arlington Cemetery.
