Friday, March 2, 1923:

Ural Smith, the oldest son of Albert and Geneva Smith, died at the Long Hospital, Friday, February 23rd at 10 o'clock p.m. at the age of 47 years. He had been sick almost three weeks of flu and was taken to the hospital Thursday for treatment.

He leaves his wife and two children, five sisters, and four brothers and his parents, besides a host of relatives and friends to mourn.

Funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church at Fayette Sunday conducted by Preston Smith and Albert Abston, burial at Fayette, cemetery. Services at the grave by Order of Red Men
