Mrs Katherine Zoe Holdeman, 84, 310 W Waterford St, Wakarusa, died at 5:25 am Tuesday, Sept 9, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr and Mrs Dale (Marjorie) Reynolds, Wakarusa. She had been at the Reynolds home since July 17, following a illness of two years.
Mrs Holdeman was born in Terre Haute, Nov 13, 1891.
She married Warren Holdeman May 14, 1919. She was a member of the Wakarusa United Methodist Church.
Surviving with Mr Holdeman and Mrs Reynolds is another daughter, Mrs Brice (Lauretta) Bender, Elk Rapids, Mich; a brother, Robert, Terre Haute; a sister, Miss Martha Smith, Terre Haute; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Friends will be received at the Lienhart Funeral Home in Wakarusa from 2-4 and 7-9 pm today, Wednesday. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 2:30 pm Thursday, Sept 11, followed by services at 3 pm at the Wakarusa United Methodist Church. The Rev Charles Henderson will officiate with burial in Olive Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Wakarusa United Methodist Church.
