Carrie Elizabeth Tucker, 81, of Altha passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 at her home in Altha. She was born on Sept. 25, 1928 in Kinard, and had lived in Calhoun County all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the Holiness Faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband Morgan Stanford G. Tucker and a son Ronnie Tucker.

Survivors include seven sons, Morgan Tucker and his wife, Cora, James Tucker and his wife, Jennifer, Earl Tucker and his wife, Betty, Tommy Tucker and his wife, Deborah, Larry Tucker and his wife, Dawn, Rex Tucker and Michael Tucker, all of Altha; one daughter, Shirley Womble and her husband, Willard of Altha; two brothers, Joseph Bill Abbott and his wife, Bonnie of Blountstown and Sonny Abbott and his wife, Joann of Tallahassee; two sisters, Lucy Mae Abbott of Port Saint Joe and Ida Abbott of Apalachicola and 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services were held Sunday July 25 at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Patsy Folks officiating. Interment followed in Pine Memorial Cemetery in Blountstown.
