Mary and her husband Errol Brown were married November 7, 1943. They had three children James of Meridian, Idaho, Donald of Portland, Oregon and Carol Davis of Silverdale, Washington.
Mary was known to her family members as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was known as an immaculate house keeper, home maker, gardener, and was envied for her painting talent. For many years she worked along side her husband Errol in several business ventures including farming, potato processing, french-fry processing and retail clothing. She was known as a very selective women's and children's clothing buyer for Totem Sales in Sunnyside.
She is survived by her husband Errol, sons James & wife Sherrie Brown, Donald & wife Jo Ann Brown, daughter Carol and husband Richard Davis, six grand children Brian Davis, Valerie Dewitz, Melinda Anthony, Stacy Crockett, Timothy Brown and Michael Brown as well as two great grandchildren Emma Lee Brown and Alexandria Crockett.
Other family members include deceased brothers Alfred, Donald and Elmer Adams and deceased sisters Ann Hoffman and Irene Graff. Surviving siblings include sisters Esther Miller, Shirley Martin, Eilleen Ewing, Rachel Close and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing and Visitation will be on Thursday, September 21, 2006 from Noon until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, September 22nd from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Internment will be at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens in Sunnyside, Washington.
