John W. Bryant III, 64, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
John was a graduate of Virginia Tech and a most loyal Hokie. He retired in 2006 as an Operations Research Analyst at Defense General Supply Center. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anne "Nancy" Corcoran Bryant.
He is survived by a daughter, Leigh Cunningham and husband, Daryl; and grandsons, Matthew, Jacob and Grayson Cunningham; stepdaughters, Michelle Tlili, Kelly Taney and fianc‚, Jonathan, Caitlin Burton and husband, Mars; and stepgrandsons, Amir and Noah Tlili. Also surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Reid Bolling; and brother, Gary Bryant, all of Roanoke, Va.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 20, at the Chesterfield Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 14301 Ashbrook Pkwy., where his service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, with interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park.
A reception will be held afterwards at the home of Leigh and Daryl Cunningham. We will miss a wonderful father, grandfather, brother and friend but we are comforted in knowing he is with his lovely Nancy once again.
