"Carl A. England was born July 4, 1901 in Monroe County, Iowa, to Madison R. and Eva McCreary England. He came to Nebraska with his parents and brothers by covered wagon at age of five. He lived most of his life in the McCook area. Carl was baptized and a member of the First Christian Church in McCook.
On Sept. 5, 1957 he was married to Helen Hanger at North Platte. He is survived by his widow, Helen, two stepsons, Roy of Eugene, Oregon and Carl of McCook; one brother Leonard of Indianola; two sisters, Veda Pingetzer of Oberlin and Vida Blanche Walton of North Platte; and several nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Charles, John, William, Elmer and Mervin."
