Funeral services were held Dec. 14, at the Clagg Funeral chapel for William Thomas Goodnight, who died Dec. 12. Rev. Sam Lever officiated. Interment was in Oaklawn Cemetery with arrangements by Clagg Funeral Home.
Born March 31, 1895 in Windom, Texas, he married Elura May Ward Nov. 18, 1916, and moved to this area in 1919. She preceded him in death in 1968.
He is survived by one brother, Clarence Goodnight, Sulphur; two sisters, Beulah Sweeten, Sulphur and Clauda May Gentry, Cress, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
