A daughter of Herbert Warren and Eliza Leonora Lynd Folger. She was born in Dayton, Ohio Sept. 29, 1906. She married Col. Daniel William Quinn III on June 26, 1929. According to their daughter Joanne, Daniel and Alberta met at a Methodist church picnic in Dayton, Ohio.

Alberta and Col. Quinn lived in many places around the world during his career with the US Army. Col. Quinn died in Ocean Springs, MS in 1989. Also preceding Alberta in death, other than her husband and parents, was her twin sister, Jeanette Lynd Folger, who died in 1930 from pneumonia.

Alberta died in Carson City, Nevada at the age of 99. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Elizabeth Quinn Dockery and Joanne Quinn Kaufmann, and two grandsons, Clay and Scott Dockery.

In our family tree, Alberta is my husband's maternal 1st cousin, 2X removed.
