Deb was the third child and son of Carl Max Troels Fonnesbeck and Zella Dell Bissegger. He was born and raised in Logan, Utah.

Married Maureen Baxter in Kemmerer, Lincoln, Wyoming on June 23, 1937. Three children: Gail, Roy Dee, and Gene. I used to spend a lot of time with them in their house on Second Street, playing with Gene and stealing Gail's gum. Deb and Maureen later divorced--(had nothing to do with my antics).

Married Lucille Hulse Rash in January 1964. I remember leaving O.E.Bell Jr. HS one afternoon in January to see Deb and Lucille leaning against their car grinning at me. That is how I found out!

Partnered with his brothers Till and Max with Fonnesbeck Electric. He did the bookkeeping. Because of him, I was fascinated with records and numbers. Thank you, Uncle Deb.
Later, when Till retired, he managed Fonnesbeck's and eventually merged with Darrell Baker to form Baker-Fonnesbeck.

He thoroughly enjoyed rock collecting and making beautiful pieces of jewelry from these stones.

Buried with Lucile near Till and Suzanne at Rose Hill Cemetery in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
