Mary Elizabeth Baugher AaronEarly Newspaper Clippings of Hardin County, IL(from Uncle George Lavender's)Mary Elizabeth Aaron was born in Hardin County IL, June 7, 1868, died April 22, 1902.She was married to Henry S. Aaron in 1889 (1888). Five children blessed this union, four of whom survive to mourn the loss of their mother; also a husband, five brothers and one sister. She with her family lived in a quiet little home of her mothers estate until 1896, when she began removing from place to place. She lived in Hardin County until 1899, when they moved to Elodrado (Saline Co., IL), and thence to a farm, where she was stricken with pneumonia and lingered for over two weeks.Drs. Rawlins and Lothins (Latham) were called to her assistance, but nothing could be done. She seemed to have a warning of her death and reveved for a time. She told her husband how she wanted to be buried, and said she did not mind dying if it were not for my children, and soon after, she fell asleep in the arms of Jesus. Her remains were carried back to the old homestead in Hardin and laid to rest in the Baugher cemetery
