Born in Pago Pago, American Samoa, she was a pantry chef at Pearl Harbor Shipyard Officers Mess and Pearl City Tavern; a handy van aide, family historian, and member of the Sacred Hearts Women's Society. Mass at 8 a.m. March 14 at St. John Catholic Church, 2324 Omilo Lane, Honolulu; inurnment at 1 p.m. at Diamond Head Cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by sons, Gilbert (Erin) Hisatake of Kailua-Kona, Jack (Leila) Hisatake of Honolulu, Joseph (Gay) Hisatake of New York; brothers, Fouvale (Sele) Aetonu and Mika Paulo of Honolulu Valelio Aetonu of Florida; 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary, Kona.
