Born in DeKalb, Bowie County, Texas Frank, his parents and family moved to Haskell county Oklahoma by 1910.
November 3, 1926 at Clayton, OK he was united in marriage to Mary Emma Steele. They were married 60 years.
Frank worked in the saw and logging mill in the early 1900's & built his families first home from the local and nearby timber. After moving to California, Frank was a lumber jack and continued to work in the logging industry in/near Mt Aukum and the area of River Pines, CA until a serious injury in the 1940's.
After his recovery he moved his family to Antioch, CA where he worked at the old US Steele mill in Pittsburg for 10 years. Later employed by Dow Chemical until his retirement in 1968. He enjoyed camping, fishing & hunting with his family children and grandchildren. He was a christian and built his solid foudation upon the Light of this world.
His grandchildren called him Papa. He had Oklahoma nicknames for all of us. In 1974 he planted a Christmas tree in our front yard when his first great granddaughter was born. It is a grand old tree today and is a daily reminder of his loving memory.
