John W. Naudain "Jack"
John W. Naudain, 69 of Bear, DE, peacefully passed away on Friday, May 20, 2011.
Born in Wilmington on June 10, 1941, Jack was a graduate of Conrad High School and proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army. He was a self employed painter and wallpaper hanger for many years, and prior to founding his own business, was employed with Delmarva Power. Jack was a member of the Harmony Grange and Red Clay Creek Presbyterian Church. An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed cheering for his grandson's hockey team and was involved with various little leagues throughout the years. In his leisure time, he enjoyed photography and beating the odds at Delaware Park.
Jack will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Carol (Moore) Naudain; his sons, Mark E. and his wife, Debbie, Douglas J. and Brian K. and his wife, Jamie; and his beloved grandchildren, Skyler and Autumn.
Friends may visit at the DOHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 3200 Limestone Road, Pike Creek on Thursday, May 26, from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 27 at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Jack to the American Diabetes Association , 100 W. 10th St., #1002, Wilmington, DE 19801 (www.diabetes.org) or the American Heart Association , PO Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693 (www.heart.org).
