She was born March 13, 1905 at Rensselaer, Ind., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Norman. The family moved west about 1909 and lived in Three Forks and Willow Creek. She graduated from Manhattan High School in 1923.
She was united in marriage with Lauren Heeb of Manhattan in 1924. Two daughters were born to this union, Mrs. Kenneth (Lorraine) Kitto of Toston, and Mrs. Lucille Robinson of Manhattan.
Her husband died at Manhattan March 10, 1968.
She married Albert Ledgerwood of Polson, June 4, 1970.
Survivors include her husband and two daughters, two sisters, Mrs. Alvin (Lucy) Bellows of Bozeman and Hazel Norman of Auburn, Wash.; two brothers, Chase Norman of Spokane, Wash. And Paul Norman of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; brothers and sisters-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Heeb of Bozeman; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Paige of Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Jo Warmack of Santa Monica, Calif., and mother-in-law, Mrs. Lou Heeb of Long Beach, Calif.; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. A brother, Louis, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Ledgerwood was a well known piano and organ teacher for a number of years.
She was a member of the undenominational body of Christians.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. Howard Mooney will officiate.
Burial will be at the Meadowview Cemetery at Manhattan.
