HAZEL GREEN, Wis. - Anna J. Pfohl, 80, 2705 Boston St., Hazel Green, died Saturday morning, Dec. 7, 1996, at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit, Dubuque.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Hazel Green, with the Rev. Cy Weisensel officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Casey Funeral Home, Cuba City, where there will be a parish rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Pfohl worked for 21 years at Attwood in Stockton, Ill., and helped her husband on the farm.
She was born on March 21, 1916, in Pipestone, Minn., daughter of Edward and Regina (Hinderman) Weber. She married Herbert Pfohl on Oct. 12, 1936, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cuba City. Herbert and Anna celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in October of this year.
She was a member of the Council of Catholic Women at St. Francis de Sales Church, Hazel Green. Anna helped daily at the church.
Surviving are her husband, Herbert, of Hazel Green; two daughters; a son; a sister; four brothers; a sister-in-law; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren and three step-great-great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl, Edward, Leo, Walter and Bernard Weber.
