Dee-James, of 414 S. Wilow St., died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born June 22, 1883, Palermo, Italy, and came to Chattanooga in 1917 and operated Dee's Shoe Shop unitl his retirement. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ida Dee, Cahattanooha; three daughters, Mrs Don Repici, Mrs. Raymond Craig and Mrs. Marico Scallia, all of Chattanooga; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Mineo and Mrs. Sarah DiFracia, both of Ohio; one brother John Dee, Palermo, Italy; six grandchildren, Andrew Scallia, Diana Cunningham, Geno Bruno, Tom Bruno, Donna Martin and Frank Dee Repici; 10 great-grandchildren, Funeral services will be held @ 2p.m. Monday at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Msgr. James Niedergesas officiating. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Andrew Scallia, Geno Bruno, Tom Bruno, Frank Repici, Paul Martin, and Jim Cunningham. The body is at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, West Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 today. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. tonight.
