11/10/1919 -- 1/4/2006 Patricia Tubbs passed away suddenly on January 4, 2006 in Redmond, Washington. She was born Patricia Jane Willis in Ritzville, Washington to Wroe Willis and Mary Thiel Willis, and lived most of her life in and around Lacey, Washington. Pat was a devoted wife and mother, and was active in community affairs. Following the 1964 death of her husband, George Tubbs, a local building contractor, she completed several houses that were under construction, and subsequently worked as an office manager for Thompson Realty for nearly 20 years. Mrs. Tubbs was preceded in death by her husband, and by her son, Robert Tubbs, who died in 1997. She is survived by two sons, Donald Tubbs, and his wife, Jonabeth, of Redmond, Washington, and Gary Tubbs, and his wife, Jan, of Fairfield, California; one granddaughter, Jennifer Stroud, and her husband, Bert, of Boulder Creek, California; and two grandsons, Robert Tubbs and Michael Tubbs, both of Redmond, Washington. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no funeral services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity. An informal gathering of friends and family in celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2006, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Diamond Head Apartments Clubhouse on College Street in Lacey.
