OCALA -- Carl William Adams, 81, a motel owner and operator, died Friday, Sept. 19, 2001, at Munroe Regional Medical Center.
A native of Mount Airy, NC, he moved here from Miami in 1961. Mr. Adams was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, Ocala; Elks Lodge, Ocala; and First Love Member, Ocala Dance Club.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Adams, Ocala; sons, Carl E. Edwards, Mooresburg, Tenn., and Dennis S. Adams, Fallston, Md.; stepdaughters, Sharon Clark, Ocala and Michelle Randolph, Gainesville, Ga.; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
