Harriet Wheeler Snow was the fifth child of ten children born to Anthony Snow (1799-1880) and his wife Lydia Gilford Snow (1801-1886). On September 7, 1851, she married James Flint of Danvers, Essex Co., MA. A widower with five children, Flint was by trade a victualler. Harriet gave birth to a daughter, Harriet Ella Flint, on August 9, 1855. Sadly, the young mother died two weeks later of typhoid fever. Her daughter survived only a few more weeks, dying of consumption on October 6, 1851. Mother and daughter were interred together in the same grave.
