OBITUARY
Cecil Tinsley of Middleburg died Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
He was 93.
Born in Middleburg on April 14, 1910, he was a son of the late William Tinsley and Jenny Smith Tinsley.
He was a former railroad employee and farmer.
He was a member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church and an honorary member of the Concerned Bikers of Kentucky.
Survivors include four daughters, Betty Rader of Cincinnati, Barbara (and L.C.) Johnson of Middleburg, Bonnie (and James) Caldwell of Littelton, Illinois and Brenda Tinsley of Liberty; three sons, Bobby Tinsley and Buddy (and Lorrine) Tinsley, both of Liberty and Buddy (and Becky) Tinsley of Martinsville, Indiana; 28 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by a son, Benny Tinsley, a daughter, Becky Martin; two brothers, W.C. Tinsley and Clarence Tinsley; four sisters, Pearl Lucas, Montie Estes, Myrtle McAninch, and Lealer Sowers.
Funeral services are January 31, 2004 at Bartle Funeral Chapel with Bro. C.B. Carman officiating.
Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Jamie and Mike Tinsley, Jimmy Snow, Frank Sheene, Randy Ledford and Richard Rousey.
Honorary pallbearers are Vernie Johnson, Tony Hunt and Keith Williams.
