Jane Marie Paglia, of Stanwood, WA, passed away peacefully, Saturday, August 28, at Skagit Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Seattle, WA March 26, 1928, she lived most of her adult life in Everett and Edmonds, WA, living the last six years with her son, Kris, and his family in Stanwood.
She was preceded in death by three husbands, Robert Brown, who died accidently in 1949, Leif Hemmingsen, who died accidently at sea in 1968, and lastly by August "Gus" Paglia who passed away in 2007. Jane's sisters, Laura and Evadna; and her bother, Kenneth Antle, also preceded her.
Jane's surviving family will cherish their memories of her dearly. They are her children, Jack and Stephanie Picconi, of Friday Harbor, WA, Kristian and Renee Hemmingsen, of Stanwood, Robert and Terry Brown, of Wagoner, OK; stepchildren, Michael and Maryanne Paglia, of Everett; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brother, Richard Antle, of Phoenix, AZ; nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a mass in her honor to be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 7, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Stanwood, followed by a Remembrance and celebration of her life at her home in Stanwood.
