Mrs. Higgs, 69, of Wharton, NJ, died Monday, April 3, 1972 at the Dover Christian Nursing Home, Dover, NJ, following a long illness. She was a former resident of Morris.
Widow of Edgar A. Higgs.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Gurdon & Mary Emmick Blackwell.
Survivors include son, F. Thomas Higgs, Wharton, NJ; two grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Juanita Waters, Endicott, NJ, Mrs. Trix Briggs, Morris, PA, & Mrs. Bernice Carr, Candor, NY; two brothers, Ted Blackwell, Rochester, NY & Wilbur Blackwell, Andover, MA.
Funeral services held Friday, April 7, 1972 at the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church; Rev. Perry R. Shoemaker, Pastor, presided.
