Hardin Porter "H.P." Menix, age 66, of Olive Hill, Ky., passed away peacefully Thursday evening, May 26, 2011, at his residence.
He was born December 26, 1944, in Carter City, Ky., a son of the late Howard Menix and Hazel Fite Menix.
H.P. was retired from General Motor's in Pontiac, MI., a retired Owner Operator Truck Driver and a retired Farmer. He was a member of the Gregoryville Christian Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday , May 29, 2011, at the Sparks funeral home in Grayson, Ky., with Bro. Lewis Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Menix Family Cemetery on Menix Road in Olive Hill.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2011, at the funeral home.
