Dies From Stroke Paralysis

J. J. Walker, 61 years old, died Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at his home in Ava. Mr. Walker was a brother of Billy Walker, Ava merchant, and for the past six months has made his home here with his mother [Minerva Catherine (Hughs) Walker]

He had been a partial invalid for many years, but death was due to a paraletic stroke which occured [occurred] Monday evening at 8 o'clock.

Mr. Walker is survived by his wife, mother, two sisters and three brothers, who were all with him at the time of his death. Funeral services and interment will be at the Thompson cemetery.
