He was the 4th born to Wm Melvin and Buelah P Stephens. His children are Henry jr, Billy Gene, Randy Paul, and Frances Ann Stephens Sewell.
Billy Gene died in 1982 and burried in Coffeeville Cemetary in Upshur county near Ore City, Tx. Randy Paul died in 2010 and buried at Crossroads cemetary in Camp County, Pittsburg, Tx.
Henry Stephens served 7-8 years in the US Army in the 82nd Airborne in WW2. He was injured overseas and never got over it. He was a decorated hero.His brothers were Jimmie, Luke, Eddie, Buck, and Babe. His sister was Clois (Blondie) Stephens Metcalf.
