Aldridge was born July 27, 1913 in Edwards County, the son of Albert and Nancy (Orel) Auldridge (sic). He married Virginia McDowell. He then married Carolyn Gertsch.
He was a retired oil field worker and painter.
He is survived by his wife; four sons, James D. Aldridge of Olney, John A. Aldridge of Kentucky, Thomas Lee Aldridge of Carbondale and Henry Aldridge Jr. of Illinois; two daughters, Janet Faye Andrews of Millington, Tenn., and Rebecca Lynn Payne of Olney; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildfren.
