He had a smile that would light up a room. He was witty and always held his sense of humor through everything he did. Jon lived life to the fullest, enjoying the ocean, scuba diving some of the most dangerous shipwrecks; driving full throttle, whether it be a car, motorcycle or speed boat. He loved living on the edge. Jon enjoyed nature and animals; he especially loved his dogs, Moby and Charlie. For a while, he held the world in the palm of his hand.
He leaves his wife, Nicole; step-son, Brendan; parents, Paul and Carol Lynn; sister, Shawn; great-aunt, Rosemary Miller; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a world of friends. Tributes may be posted on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
Jon was an accomplished scuba diver and would always challenge himself to execute professional dives in serious locals. One of his most famous dives was to the ANDREA DORIA. This was a dive of over 190 feet and required several air tanks to execute. Jon was proud of this accomplishment.

It's been a year... As the best way to remember Jon, I want to share a funny story about this picture, which I used for his Memorial last year. We were in Vegas and he rented this bike because he had never rode a "chopper". When I met up with him after my work, his eyes were full of laughter. He told me how much fun he had, but for hours, how he drove around Vegas only making left turns. He couldn't turn right without falling over, so he would circle blocks, turning only left! He also told me, he was so focused on not crashing that for hours he didn't think about the fact he was dying. Today I remember the joy with which he celebrated life, the compassion and love he showed everyone and because of him, I am a better person!
