First married to Marcus Floyd Book.
Marcus had two sons by his first wife: Herbert and Harry. Marcus and Olive had Beulah and Delbert.

After Marcus died, she married his brother- Joseph Truman Book. Joseph had at least four by his first wife: Rosa Augusta, Joseph Earl, Lewis Wilburn and Arvil Alvin.

Olive E. Book, 83, succumbed at 6 p.m. Thursday in Tipton Hospital after a seven-week illness. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday from the First Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Arley Mitchum and Rev. Lawrence Huffhand officiating and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Windfall. Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Mitchell Funeral Home one hour prior to services at the church.

The deceased was born in St. Clair County, Missouri, Sept 27, 1882, daughter of William and Mary Coonce.

She was married to Floyd Book, Nov. 13, 1902 and after his death, Nov. 16, 1908, she was married to Joseph T. Book, Jan. 6, 1909. He preceded her in death July 17, 1953.

Survivors include seven daughters, Mrs. John Barnes, Mrs. Jack Fisher, Mrs. Ray Nordan, all of Windfall; Mrs. Harry Adams of Tipton; Mrs. Arvil Bennett and Mrs. David Combs of San Pablo, California and Mrs. Gerald Cottingham of New Palestine, Indiana; two sons, Delbert Book of Atlanta, Indiana and Elton Book of El Cajon, California; three step-children, Mrs. Rosa Noles of Piggott, Arkansas; Lewis Book of Memphis, Tenn., Alda Book of Bell City, Missouri; a sister, Mrs. Ida Montgomery of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; two brothers, George Coonce of Quilin, Missouri and Lee Roy Coonce of Brosley, Mo.; 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
