ALBERT O. ARENZ

Albert Oscar Arenz was born in Bonne Terre May 7, 1874 to the late Oscar and Lorinda (Garrett) Arenz. He passed away at the McFarland Nursing Home in Rolla on November 5, 1959. He was aged 85 years, five months and 28 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ursula Spradling Arenz, in December 1948.

Survivors include the following children: Ray and Wilford Arenz, of Bonne Terre; Mrs. Paul (Verna) Robinson of St. Louis; Alfred, of California; a sister, Mrs. Bell davis of St. Louis; a brother, Perry Arenz of Flat River; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.

The remains lay in state at the Boyer-Benham Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Services were conducted at two o'clock Sunday afternoon at the First Baptist Church, of which he was a member for many years. Officiating was the pastor, Dr. C. H. McClure, and interment was made in the St. Francois Memorial Park under the direction of Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.

Mr. Arenz was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America, Local 3934.

Remains will be in state at the Boyer-Benham Funeral Home in Bonne Terre after 7 pm this evening.

Services will be conducted at the First Baptist Church in Bonne Terre Sunday, November 8, at two o'clock by Dr. C.H. McClure. Burial will be in the St. Francois Memorial Park under the direction of the C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Inc., of Bonne Terre.
