Mrs Olive Clevenger Mort, 78, of McConnellsburg, died on Thursday, October 30, 1958, at 12:30 a.m., at the Fulton County Medical Center. She had been ill for eleven days following a paralytic stroke.
Born on November 1, 1879 at Needmore. She was a daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine Barton Clevenger.
Mrs. Mort was a member of the Methodist Church of Clear Ridge.
Surviving are her husband, Harry E. Mort; four children, Mrs. Elsie Lamberson of McConnellsburg, Mrs. Pauline Robinson of Greensboro, N.C., Mervin Mort of Clear Ridge and Mrs. Margaretta Fleming of McConnellsburg; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two nieces and two nephews. Mrs Mort was the last member of her immediate family.
Funeral services were held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Clear Ridge Methodist Church with the Rev. Jay Saxe officiating.
Burial was made in the Clear Ridge Methodist Cemetery.
