Married - 25 Feb 1915, Fulton County, PAEdna A. Bivens, 90, formerly of 2749 Geibs Road, St. Thomas, died Monday, Feb 27, in Menno-Haven Nursing Home, Chambersburg.

Born April 1, 1898 in Robinsonville, Bedford County, she was a daughter of the late G. J. and Annie (Smith) Mellott.

She was a member of the Franklin County Society of Farm Women Group 5.

She started farming in 1915 in Websters Mill and moved to St. Thomas in 1937 where she began farming in that area. She was also a member of the St. Thomas Lutheran Church.

Her husband E. Reid Bivens, died Oct 16, 1962.

She is survived by two sons, Merrill L. Bivens of St. Thomas and Homer L. Bivens of Hagerstown; two granddaughters; three great grandchildren; and a sister, Retha Glazier of McConnellsburg.

Arrangement were made by the Park Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg.
