Carol Ann Joy of Trolly Crossing, Middletown, died Thursday, (December 20, 2001). She was the beloved sister of Mrs. John (Marguerite) Wrinn of Branford, Barbara Joy of Hamden, Geraldine Gill of North Haven, Mrs. John (Suzanne) Carroll of Guilford, William V. Joy, Jr. and his wife Rose of Massachusetts, Michael D. Joy and James C. Joy, both of Wallingford; loving aunt of Kira Lent, John Wrinn, Christopher and Brian Joy, Claire Gill, Jonna and Kathleen Carroll.
Miss Joy was born in New Haven, March 25, 1948, daughter of the late William V. and Rita Benham Joy. She was an employee of Travelers, Inc. having served in the commercial department and was a former resident of North Haven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's Church, Rt. 372 East, St. John's Court, Cromwell, Monday morning at 10 a.m. Burial in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. Friends may call Sunday, 3-7 p.m. at Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden.
