ROBERT W. ROGERS
LAMAR--Robert W. Rogers, 23, of Lamar, was pronounced dead at his home at 1:30 a.m. Monday by Barton County Coroner Dr. Thomas Carroll. Death was attributed to natural causes.
An employe of the Carthage Marble Company, Mr. Rogers was a member of the First Baptist Chruch here.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; one son, Robert Eldon, of the home; his father, Virgil, of Lamar; three brothers, Eldon, of Lamar, Dean, of Vivian, La., and Donald Lee, of the state of Michigan; five sisters, Mrs. Goldie Meyer, of Pontiac, Mich., Mrs. Cora Abbott, of Erie, Kan., Mrs. Paula Yeager, of Gardner, Kans., and Mrs. Eva Boyd and Mrs. Sharon Irwin, both of Kansas City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lohmeyer-Konantz Chapel here with the Rev. Bob Marti officiating. Burial will be in the Nigh Cemetery northeast of Lamar. (D.A.E./Springfield News-Leader, Springfield, Missouri, 17 Apr 1973, Tue., Page 17)
