Death of Henry Ahern

Henry M. Ahern, brother of Engineer James Ahern of the California North Western railway, died in San Francisco on Wednesday after a brief illness. He was well-known in this city, Sonoma and San Francisco and left many friend to mourn his untimely death. He was a native of New Jersey, aged thirty-seven years and nine months. He leaves a widow, two sons, and several brothers and sisters.
Deceased will be buried near his father and mother in Calvary cemetery, this city on the arrival of the 9:30 train from San Francisco Saturday morning. Services will be held at St. Vincent's church.

"Ahern: In this city, February 14, Henry M., beloved husband of Rebecca Ahern, father of James and Willie Ahern and brother of James and Sarah Ahern, Mrs. S. H. Green, and Mrs. T. Bradley, a native of New Jersey; aged 37 years, 9 months and 14 days.
Friends and acquaintances are respectfully invited to attend the funeral to-morrow (Saturday) at 6:30 o'clock a.m. from his late residence, 2770 Twenty-first street; thence to 7:40 o'clock boat, foot of Market street. Interment at Petaluma."

He was the husband of Rebecca Ahern and father of James and Willie Ahern. He leaves brother, and sisters as following: James Ahern, engineer of Tiburon, Sarah Ahern, Mrs. S. Green, and Mrs. T. Bradley."
