An active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she served in various capacities over the years. She enjoyed family history work and served a church family history mission for five years. Lola loved snow skiing, water skiing, and handwork, especially quilting and intricate crochet.

19 Grandchildren & 21 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents and daughter Nancy. Funeral Services held April 15, 2010, at Idaho Falls 24th Ward, 1155 E. First Street, Bishop Doug Hillman officiating. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery directed by Wood Funeral Home.
