Freddie died of mastoiditis in Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. His death also noted in St John's United Church of Christ in Lincoln. He was the son of Henry Peter Leikam and his 2nd wife Mary Katharine HORN. Freddie is buried in Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, Space 3, Lot 995.
