LEWISTOWN - Phyllis I. Booher, 70, of 203 North Grand St., Lewistown, died at 6 p.m. Friday, July 26, 2002, at her residence. Born Nov. 7, 1931, in Decatur Township, she was a daughter of the late Merle and Mary (Marker) Deavor. Her husband, Samuel G. Booher, whom she married May 15, 1954, survives. Also surviving are: a daughter, Deborah A. Long, 176 North Walnut St., Lewistown; brothers and sisters, Richard Deavor, Lewistown, Gerald Deavor, McVeytown, Mrs. Charles (Janice) Oldt, Williamsport, David Deavor, Lewistown, Kenneth Deavor, Dillsburg, Leon Deavor, Montgomery, NY, Mrs. Herman (Sara) Specht, Yeagertown, James Deavor, Belevuew, NE, and Clair Deavor, Claysburg; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Deavor. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Spring Run Church of the Brethren. Her funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Heller-Hoenstine Woodlawn Funeral Home with the Rev. James Yoder officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday, at the funeral home. There will be no public viewing.
