Lettie K. Kuhles, 83, of the Cortland Nursing Home died Wednesday at Cortland Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Kuhles was born in Truxton and also lived in Syracuse. She was a waitress and cook many years at the Yates Hotel, Syracuse.
Her husband, Theodore, died in 1971.
Surviving are a brother, Jasper Bush Jr. of Oneida; three sisters, Ethel Carruthers and Helen Carruthers, all of Cortland; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, the Rev. Richard Reed officiating.
Burial will be in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
