REV. ROY F. WALKER
---The Rev. Roy F. Walker, 98, died at 7:03 a.m. March 27, 2007, in Grace Village Health Care, Winona Lake, where he resided.
---He was born Oct. 21, 1908, in Paragould, Ark., to Edward B. and Callie Henry Weatherly Walker. On Sept. 26, 1930, he married Jeanette Teter, who died March 8, 1993.
---Living in this area since 1992, he attended chapel services at Grace Village. He was a Baptist pastor in Colorado, Missouri and Nebraska, and was a cattle farmer in La Plata, Mo.
---Surviving are three sons: Dr. William Walker, Winona Lake; Dr. Robert Walker, Spokane, Wash.; and Eugene Walker, Columbia City; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Barbara) Wilgus, Indio Calif.; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clarence Walker, Pine, Colo. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
---A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw, with Chaplain Glen Byers officiating.
---Calling is from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Titus Funeral Home Warsaw.
