Lynn H. Brungard, 72, of Loganton RD 2, died at Lock Haven Hospital Thursday (Nov. 29, 1990) at 3:19 a.m.
He was a retired welder of the former Piper Aircraft Corp. of Lock Haven. He attended St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran church in Booneville. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army combat engineers in the European Theater. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Millheim. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of the Las Vegas Hunting Club of Greensburg. He was a lifelong resident of the Loganton area.
He was born in Greene Township, Sugar Valley, Nov. 2, 1918, a son of the late Thomas Merrill and Edna Lehman Brungard. He married the former Miriam A. Aikey, who survives.
He is also survived by one son; John R. of Loganton RD 2; two stepdaughters, Alverta L. Ross of Mifflinburg and Debra K. Boyer of Millmont RD 1; three stepsons; Millard H. Aikey, of Middleberg RD 2; Robert N. Aikey, Sr. and Alvin E. Aikey of Mifflinburg; five sisters, Mary Washburn of Loganton RD 2, Dorothy Deihl, Dorris Lamey, Alma Seyler and Alda Held, all of Loganton, one half-brother, Raymond Lehman, of Loganton RD 1, 15 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the G. Schuyler Ramm Funeral home, Loganton, Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Ardelle M. Mason officiating. Burial will be at the St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Booneville.
Friends will be received at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
