Command Sgt. Maj., U.S. Army, Retired, Jessie Parker DeLoach, 70, Nov. 2 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

He was born in Glennville and had lived in Savannah since 1975. He was retired from the Army, with more than 30 years of active duty, and 15 years with the Defense Commissary Agency. He was a member of Thunderbolt Lodge No. 697, F.&A.M.'s, the Scottish Rite Consistory -- Valley of Savannah, and the Flag Unit of Alee Shrine Temple.

SURVIVORS: his wife, Anna J. DeLoach of Savannah; a daughter, Marlene S. Fetchik of Garfield, N.J.; two sons, John M. DeLoach of Savannah and Jessie J. DeLoach of Olympia, Wash.; a brother, Frank DeLoach of Sebastian, Fla.; two sisters, Mary DeLoach of Jacksonville, Fla., and Janie Ruth Kirkland of Savannah; three grandchildren, Craig Fetchik, Derek Deloach, and Maximillion DeLoach; and a number of nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel.

FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Monday at Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel, burial in Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors.
