The twenty fifth of November, one thousand eighteen hundred thirty eight, by us priest undersigned, in the parish of Jean-Baptiste of L'Orignal, was baptized in this church, Marie Josephine, age of fifteen days, born of the legitimate marriage of Gedeon Bertram (sic) and of Denyse Rochon of this parish. Godfather Marc Rochon. Godmother Salome Bertrand, who all declare not knowing how to sign.

The funeral of Mrs. Clover Livernois
will be held at twelve o'clock Tuesday
noon from her late home and at one from
Owls Head church. It is expected Rev.
E. C. Day, of Brainardsville, will officiate.
Mrs. Livernois was one of our oldest
ladies and very well known and respected.
She leaves a large family to mourn her
loss, aside from her husband, who is very
feeble at present. Much sympathy is
extended to them in their deep affliction.
