CAVICCHI, Helen M. "Hon" - Passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2007, in Musquodoboit Valley Memorial Hospital, Middle Musquodoboit, following a brief illness. Born and raised in Stewiacke, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Ella (Cameron) McKillop. She was the last surviving member of her family. She is survived by sons, Ted (Laura), Nova Scotia; Doug (Anne), British Columbia; grandsons, Trevor (Fiona), Alberta; Trent (Nicole), New Hampshire; Ryan, British Columbia; granddaughters, Laura, Angela, both of British Columbia; Ashley, Nova Scotia; sisters-in-law, Ruth McKillop, Ethel McKillop; three great-granddaughters, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis "Fran"; brothers, George, Bill, Stan, Walter, Earl (Second World War), Albert, Milt; sister, Annie in infancy; sisters-in-law, Gladys, Marion, Annie, Hazel; nephews, Ralph, James, and Mark. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Pine Grove Cemetery, Stewiacke East, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. Reception to follow at 2:30 p.m. in St. Andrews United Church Hall, Stewiacke. Donations may be made to the Musquodoboit Valley Health Foundation - Braeside or Hospital.
