Mr. Krout was employed at Olin Matheson/Flexel for 39 years, retiring in June of 1997.
Memberships include Sterling Christian Church. He graduated from Veedersburg High School in 1959.
He was born Jan 5, 1940 in Veedersburg, the son of Kenneth E. and Alberta R. (Sigler) Krout, and was raised by his mother and stepfather Raymond Richey after his father died in WWII.
He married Evelyn A. Cunningham Nov. 21, 1959 in Veedersburg.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Christy (Phil) DeSutter, Veedersburg; two sons, Kenneth W. (Penny) Krout, Veedersburg; and Brad (Terri) Krout, Covington; two sisters, Patty (Marvin) Lewis, Veedersburg; and Sharon (Buck) Allen, Veedersburg; two brothers, Don (Debbie) Richey, Veedersburg; and Bob (Jeanie) Richey, Franklin, IN; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
His parents, stepfather and daughter, Tami Lyons preceded him in death.
